Amy was born and raised in Kitsap County. Her path to dentistry happened somewhat by chance when she accompanied a friend on a tour of a local dental assisting school. Instantly captivated, she fell in love with the field, and the rest is history.

Amy’s favorite part of dental medicine is helping patients overcome their fears and gain confidence through a beautiful smile. Outside of work, she cherishes family traditions, such as making her great-grandmother’s homemade ravioli from scratch every Christmas Eve.

When Amy isn’t in the office, she spends time with her husband, enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. They have two children—a 19-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old son—as well as two dogs they love to spoil. Gardening, particularly growing dahlias, has become a hobby she enjoys sharing with others.

If given the chance to travel anywhere, Amy would choose Italy, specifically Florence, where her great-grandparents were from. Her love for Italian food also plays a part in her dream destination.

With 28 years of experience in dental medicine, Amy has worked alongside Dr. Bowman for 22 of those years.

I was born in Roswell, NM and moved to Washington more than 24 years ago. I am married to Gary and have two children, Jared and Carli. I also have a beautiful grand-daughter.

I believe dentistry chose me as I started as an assistant at only 18 years old. I have worked for general dentists, as a surgical assistant, and for an endodontist too. I now work in the front office and enjoy the faster pace

I have loved it ever since as it fits my nurturing personality and allows me to help people. I enjoy being around people and assisting them to overcome common obstacles, whether it is fear, financial, or otherwise.

Away from the office, I enjoy playing with my granddaughter, Ava and like to go camping and hiking. Most of all, I love being around my family and friends.

I’m from Lynden, WA! I’ve lived in Washington all my life, but I love traveling to new places, especially warmer areas since I’m not a fan of the cold.

I like to think Dentistry chose me! I was working as a housekeeper and wanted to try something new. Luckily, I found a dentist who was kind enough to train me as an Assistant, and I’ve since fallen in love with the field.

One of my favorite things about working with patients is hearing their stories. Getting to know people and listening to all the fun, crazy things they’ve done is something I look forward to every day.

I’m also a proud cat mom to three, along with a Ball Python and some fish! When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my family in Lynden or hanging out at home with my cats and my boyfriend.

I’ve been in Dental Medicine for almost three years now, and I’m eager to keep growing in this amazing field!

I’m from Los Angeles, CA, and I’ve always been passionate about health and helping others, which is why I chose to work in dentistry. There’s something so uplifting about a smile, and being part of that is incredibly rewarding. My favorite part of dental medicine is seeing how a beautiful smile can truly boost someone’s confidence.

A fun fact about me is that I enjoy designing and wrapping cars as a hobby! I drive a purple and black Dodge Charger, which I absolutely love. When my husband and I aren’t working on cars or spending time with our two boys and our pup, you can usually find me cozied up on the couch, ready to Netflix & chill.

If I could go anywhere, I’d love to visit any place in the Caribbean. The warm, tropical, and relaxing vacation atmosphere is definitely my kind of vibe. I’ve been working in the dental field for five years now, and I love every moment!

I’m originally from Port Orchard and Tacoma, and I chose dentistry because I’ve always enjoyed working in customer service and helping people, but I wanted a more fulfilling career. I began my journey at Bremerton Dental Assisting School, but my teammates at Safe Harbor have taught me so much over the years.

My favorite part of dental medicine is making patients feel comfortable and at ease, and seeing them happy with the end result. A fun fact about me is that I love baking and experimenting with new recipes, especially making pickles!

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, or trying out new baking ideas. If I could go anywhere in the world, I would visit the Philippines to meet my family there and learn more about the provinces they come from.

I’ve been in dentistry for five years, all of which have been with Safe Harbor Smiles.

I grew up in Seattle, Washington, and followed in my father’s footsteps to become a dentist. I completed my undergraduate studies at Washington State University and later pursued dental hygiene at Shoreline Community College.

One of my favorite aspects of dentistry is building relationships with my patients and seeing the improvements in their dental health due to their efforts at home. A fun fact about me is that I practiced Choy Li Fut, a Chinese martial art, at Bruce Lee’s school in Seattle during the 1970s.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my 5-year-old granddaughter and her 10-month-old sister in Bellevue. My family and I often travel in our 45-foot motorcoach during the winter, accompanied by our 2-year-old chocolate Labrador.

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I’d love to revisit France and Italy to experience their amazing cuisines again. I’ve been practicing dental medicine for 57 years now!

I grew up in a small town in Illinois, where movies like Home Alone and Groundhog Day were filmed. I started working as a dental assistant for my family dentist when I was fifteen, which sparked my interest in the field. One of the things I love most about dentistry is seeing advancements in technology and how they benefit both patients and clinicians.

I also enjoy traveling to different conferences across the country and have been fortunate enough to meet many famous authors, actors, and politicians along the way. Outside of work, I love to cook, read, and contribute to a podcast that I help moderate on Rumble.com.

If I could explore any country, my first choice would be Switzerland.

I’ve been in dentistry for 25 years now, and I’m still just as passionate about it as when I started!

I was born and raised in Gig Harbor, WA. One of my favorite things about dental medicine is how constantly it evolves. I enjoy learning about new procedures and skills that we can incorporate into the office, which keeps things exciting.

A fun fact about me is that I love baking! My favorite things to bake are cinnamon rolls and cookies. Outside of the office, I spend a lot of time with my family.

I’ve been working in dental medicine for a year and a half, and I’m excited to continue growing in this field!

Jade

Registered Dental Hygienist

I was born and raised in Kitsap, where I became the fourth generation to graduate from Central Kitsap High School. I’ve always enjoyed working with and helping people, which led me to various roles in my early career. I’ve worked as a paraeducator in elementary schools, a server at Silver City restaurant, and at Central Market in Poulsbo while attending school. I love connecting with patients, meeting them where they are in life, and discussing small habit changes that can make a big difference. My goal is for my patients to feel informed and involved in their oral health, ensuring no one leaves the office feeling confused or overwhelmed.

I pursued my Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene at Seattle Central College. I had the privilege of working with diverse populations through Odessa Brown’s children’s clinic, UW’s clinic for special needs, and various community clinics. The wide range of patients I interacted with provided me with an enriching experience.

What I enjoy most about dental hygiene is the attention to detail it requires. I love making sure every part of the mouth, teeth, and gums is recorded and monitored, removing stains, and tackling any buildup. Building relationships with patients and helping them feel understood and engaged in their oral health journey is especially rewarding.

Outside of work, my time is mostly spent with my son and my big family. I also enjoy hiking, crafting, and reading, with music or audiobooks always in the background. If I could travel anywhere, I’d be open to any destination. I love learning about history, architecture, different cultures, and, of course, trying new foods. I’ve been to Edinburgh, London, and Paris, and I think Osaka or Seoul might be next on my list.

I grew up in Poulsbo, WA, and have lived around Kitsap throughout my adulthood. My decision to pursue a career in dentistry came from witnessing the ongoing dental challenges in my family, including my own.

After a few other paths didn’t work out, I found my calling in dental hygiene, driven by a desire to help others and educate them about oral health. Over time, my passion for dentistry has grown far beyond what I ever expected.
What I enjoy most about dental hygiene is the chance it gives me to help people learn about themselves. I love building connections with patients and the community, making each day meaningful.

A fun fact about me: before dentistry, I briefly attended an art school. Although it wasn’t my final path, I still find time to paint and craft whenever I can. Outside of the office, my interests shift with the seasons. I love the outdoors—whether hiking or spending time on the water. I’m also a regular at the gym, and I enjoy hanging out with my cat, Soybean!

If I could travel anywhere, it would be Greece. I have a soft spot for Greek mythology and old architecture, so it’s a dream of mine to explore the ancient ruins there.

I officially earned my dental hygiene degree and license in 2024, though I’ve been practicing for the past two years. Working alongside clinicians with different levels of experience, I’m eager to keep learning and growing.
